Tourism Estevan is bringing back their annual Beach Bash on Saturday, Aug. 16. The Woodlawn Regional Park Boundary Dam Site will be filled with fun activities for a reasonable price.
Between noon and 2 a.m. activities and fun will be available with entertainment beginning at 3 p.m. with Dan the Magic Man performing for youth.
Later on in the day Crossroads will take to the stage to open for Third Degree Birnz who will begin playing at 11 p.m.
In addition to these acts, there are numerous activities for people to enjoy as well. From swimming to a sand castle competition, fun can be had by all.
Yoga will be available through Encompass Fitness.
Face painting is another fun draw for youth as they get ready to create their perfect sand castle and play games on the beach.
Food will be available from Homemade Cravings and Beatz Eats, while refreshments can be found for adults at the Coors Light Tent.
A beach volleyball tournament is also being put together that day and further inquiries into this event of to register a team one can call (306)471-7464.
Estevan Art Gallery is holding Tiki Hut games for the crowds amassed, while for those who aren't interested in playing games can watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders play on the big screen which will be found on the beach.
That evening fireworks will be set off to celebrate the summer beach bash at Boundary Dam.
Admission for the event is reasonable with youth seven-years-old and younger gaining free access, while those eight-years-old and older will pay $10.
In addition to a fun day and an entertaining night Safe Ride Shuttle Bus has been organized to get people to and from Estevan safely. The shuttle will begin at 7 p.m. picking people up at Estevan Shoppers Mall and will continue driving to and from the event until 2 a.m. They will be operating on donations and are providing an extremely important service.
