ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The election for a seat on Carlyle Town Council will be held Wednesday, May 23.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Municipal revenue-sharing
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The Town of Carlyle's municipal revenue-sharing allocation (which is allocated by the provincial government) for 2018-2019 is $300,897. This total is a decrease from the 2017-2018 allocation, which was $322,828.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Budget
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Council is currently at work on the Town's budget.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Spring clean-up
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The Town of Carlyle Public Works Department are ready to commence spring clean-up - including repairing potholes and street sweeping - as soon as weather and road conditions permit.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Daycare
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Council received notice from the provincial Ministry of Education that Carlyle did not receive a child care space allocation for 2017-2018. The Town will continue to pursue ways to bring a much-needed daycare facility to Carlyle and area.
