聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Crescent Point Energy will be hosting a Grand Opening of their new building at the intersection of Hwy 9 and Hwy 13 on Tuesday, June 23.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Here they will host a large picnic from noon until 2 p.m. where free hotdogs, hamburgers, and pop will be available to all the community that comes out to celebrate with Crescent Point.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The building, which is 20,000 square feet, has two floors and is a replacement for their older office on 7th St. W.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Over the years the company has grown out of that space and was in need of a new building, which can seat up to 70 staff members Ryan Gritzfeldt, Crescent Point鈥檚 vice-president of engineering and development east, told Pipeline News in April.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Although it can seat 70, there will be 40 people working out of the office. Gritzfeldt went on to tell Pipeline News that the facility was built for growth.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Planning for the building was started in 2012 with ground being broken in April of 2014. With it being a high profile area, there has been a lot of interest in the new building and the grand opening will welcome the community to ask questions and learn more about it.
聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Crescent Point explained that the grand opening is being held exactly five years from the opening of their grand opening of the Weyburn office.
