Carlyle Town Council held their meeting of the new four-year last week. Here is a recap of the meeting.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Council members gathered one hour prior to the meeting for a council orientation session, led chief administrative officer Natalie Miller.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The first Regular Meeting started at 7 p.m.. where all council members took their oath of office, swearing their pledge before RCMP Const. David Madill, also present were Const. Brandon Glasser and Cpl. Michael Parker.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The first meeting included the appointment of representatives to the various council committees, approving the deputy mayor schedule and updating signing authorities of the bank accounts. A thorough review of the monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations took place to educate the new members that are having their first look at the current budget.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 pm.
