Members of the Carlyle RCMP and Traffic Services held a memorial on April 24 for Constable Heidi Stevenson who lost her life in the tragedy that took place in Nova Scotia.
     Members gathered with civilians at the Detachment for a moment of silence and a ceremonial procession of service vehicles to salute Constable Stevenson. Officers drove through the community of Carlyle to display their grief for the veteran of 23 years with the force and mother of two. Twenty-one others were also killed and others injured, including another member of the RCMP.
