聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 The Carlyle and District Lions Club in conjunction with the family of the late Gord Savill are paying tribute to him with the addition of a new gazebo at Carlyle's Lions聽 Pride Estates.
听听听听听听听听听听听 Lions member Gord Paulley says, 鈥淕ord Savill passed away in December 2014. The Lions Club聽 had always thought of putting up a gazebo at Lions Pride. Not only was Gord a great person, he also was a Lion for over 50 years. He deserved a gazebo.鈥�
听听听听听听听听听听听 鈥淚n conjunction with the Savill family, we decided to erect a gazebo in Lions Pride Estates. 鈥淎bout 14 people-Gord's fellow Lions and other friends made it happen. One week, we got the cement pad poured and the week after, we got the gazebo up and the Savill family will be adding a plaque at a later date.鈥�
听听听听听听听听听听听 鈥淲e're very happy that it's done,鈥� adds Paulley. 鈥淚t looks great and everyone at Lions Pride is already using it and enjoying it.鈥�
