CES Principal Tyler Fehrenbach looks over the plans for the proposed play structures for Carlyle Elementary School’s two playgrounds.

Carlyle Elementary School has been raising funds for new playground equipment.

A few years ago each school in the division went through a safety audit, which resulted in

the CES having to remove play equipment deemed unsafe and make plans to find suitable replacement play structures.

So far the School Community Council (SCC), through various fundraisers and grants, has accumulated approximately $85,000. The total cost for the planned play structures, one for each of the school’s two playgrounds, is $103,000.

The school welcomes any donations or fundraising projects that will help them achieve their goal.

Any groups or individuals (or if you recently won Lotto Max) are asked to contact CES with suggestions or ideas that will help complete this much needed project.
