The 2011/2012 school year looks like it will be fun, exciting, and busy school year. Please remember to check your childs backpack each day for important notes and reminders of events and happenings at CES.
Thursday September 8th was our Annual Welcome Back Pancake Breakfast here at CES. We would like to thank those families who came out and enjoyed the breakfast; we had a really great turn out once again.
This past Monday was an exciting day at CES. All students came with their best smile for picture day.
There will be no school on Monday, September 26th. Teachers will be involved in School Improvement Planning Workshop.
This coming Wednesday, September 28th is the annual Terry Fox Run. Students will be running or walking at 2pm around a set out route. Thank-you to all community members who support this worthy cause through participating in the event and donating pledges.
Here at CES we have a great group of parents and community members who are involved in our many programs and activities. The time that you spend volunteering for our Lunch for Learning Program, after school programs, and the many other events that take place throughout the school year does not go unnoticed. We appreciate your generosity and would like you to know that you help our school be the best it can be! We look forward to seeing you lending a hand at CES for the 2011/2012 school year!
