Broadview RCMP seeking three suspects after 'serious' assault

Three individuals have been charged in connection with the incident. Their whereabouts are unknown.

BROADVIEW - Arrest warrants have been issued for three suspects in connection with an assault that occurred in southeast Saskatchewan.

The Broadview RCMP received a report on Sept. 15 at approximately 11:10 p.m. of what it called a "serious assault" at a residence on the Kahkewistahaw First Nation.

Members immediately responded. An investigation determined three individuals forced their way into a residence and assaulted a male and a female. The male was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature by the RCMP. The female reported minor injuries to police.

The RCMP said the suspects fled in a vehicle.

As a result of continued investigation, the Broadview RCMP has charged three individuals in relation to this incident.

Twenty-year-old Braydane Crowe from Kahkewistahaw First Nation is charged with one count each of carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, and break and enter and commit an indictable offence. 

Sage Grey, 24, from Regina is charged with carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, aggravated assault, and break and enter and commit an indictable offence. 

A female youth from Kahkewistahaw First Nation is charged with assault causing bodily harm, and break and enter and commit an indictable offence.

All charges are under the Criminal Code. 

Warrants have been issued for their arrests and Broadview RCMP are working to locate them. Investigators are asking members of the public to report information on their whereabouts.

Crowe is described as approximately six feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. 

Grey is described as approximately 5’7” and 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Grey has a tattoo of a bear paw on his right wrist and a tattoo that says “loyalty brings royalty” on his left forearm. The RCMP says it is working on obtaining a photo of him.

The RCMP is unable to identify the female youth, as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

They might be travelling to the Regina or Yorkton areas, but the RCMP says the suspects' current whereabouts are unknown.

"If you see the suspects, do not approach them. Contact Broadview RCMP at 306-969-5200," the RCMP said in a news release.
