The Arcola School Senior Drama students performed in the play The Fourth Wall Wednesday, May 11 at the Mac Murray Theatre in Arcola. The Fourth Wall was a comedy written by Rebekah M. Ball, about a play within a play. The students have been working extremely hard over the past few months with early morning practices, and their hard work really paid off with an outstanding performance on Wednesday evening.
The cast and crew consisted of students ranging from grades ten to twelve, all of which had experience in previous Arcola School Drama productions. This year's cast included, Regan Tessier as Butler, Miranda Greening as Maid, Cal Haddow as Host, Alyssa Cutler as Hostess, Sara Haddow as Dead Person, Kaylee Mullis as Death, James Herman as Real Death, Courtney Hall as Stagehand, and Savanna Bryce as Guest. They also had two really great crew members with Zach Brown helping with prompting, and Ben Cornwell managing sound. Directing this year were teachers Mr. Graham James, with Miss Whitney Paul and Mr Jeff Bohnert joining the group as rookies to the Senior Drama crew.
