On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020Ìýat 7:00-9:00pm the Alzheimer Society will be hosting a free public forum on reducing your risk of getting dementia with Dr. Paul Blackburn. Dr. Blackburn will discuss the latest science on brain health and wellness, and share useful tools to support self-care includingÌýThe Wellness App.

ÌýDr. Blackburn is a Clinical Instructor in geriatric psychiatry at the University of British Columbia and former board member and chair of the Education Committee for the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry. He spends his working days helping older adult inpatients at Vancouver General Hospital as well as doing outreach to northern BC and across the city seeing seniors in their homes. He loves thinking of ways to help seniors live better lives.
