Sincere sympathy is extended to Lorna and Jeff Dzuba and family on the death of her stepmother Lillian Raiwet, late of Estevan, on Jan. 17 at the age of 83 years. A private family service will be held at the chapel of Hall Funeral Service with interment at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens in Estevan.
The Alida Recreation Board members made approximately 200 homemade pizzas that had been spoken for and sold, and then distributed them on Saturday. It proved to be a great fundraiser – way to go gals.
The board has now opened the Alida Rink for public skating on the following days: Fridays (4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.); Saturdays (2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.); and Sundays (2-4 p.m.). However they wish to make note that it will not be open if there are no volunteers to help with supervision. This is to help keep the COVID-19 restrictions under control.
Please contact any board member for further information with what must be carried out. Also don’t forget skating fees should be paid up – check the poster as for the amounts that will be due. Please step forward and help out.
Birthday greetings for this coming week are extended to the following: Jordan Beriault – February 3; Kolton Schulhauser – February 4; Zachary Boettcher and Wayne Smith – February 5. Happy birthday everyone and may you all have a great day. You’re another day older and another day wiser.
