We are well into the new year now. Staff and students are back at school; they started back on Jan. 4. Good luck everyone on the next days while at school.
I do believe that things are trying to get back to normal as much as possible 鈥 even if one must continue to wear masks and use great caution while out and about.
Just remember 鈥 we will beat this pandemic as now we only have to wait for the vaccine to become available for everyone..听
Hoping that the Ukrainian people in our area had a very Merry Christmas on Jan. 7 and hopefully your Christmas was okay, you鈥檇 also be limited on your celebrations as we were on the 25th, thanks to our 鈥渄ear friend鈥 COVID.
It will be so good to say farewell to it as soon as we can. Listening to the news over this past weekend, it is getting very serious, seems to be getting worse before it will get better, so please keep yourself safe and take care.
I was looking over the Lions Club鈥檚 calendar and decided that I could send our local people happy birthday greetings, so will begin at the beginning with wishing a happy belated birthday to Doug Dubuc and Lily Carlsen, whose birthdays were on Jan. 4; Kathy Anthony and Parry Peet, Jan. 6; Isabella Beriault, Jan. 7; Grant Barber, Jan. 8; Brenda Junk and Thomas Peet, Jan. 12. Now for this coming week, it鈥檚 a big happy birthday to Wyatt Boettcher, Jan. 16; Daryl Dubuc and Mark Beriault, Jan. 17; and Gilbert Desautels, Jan. 18. Hope you all had a great day and all the best for the coming year.
