The Alida community extends sincere sympathy to Bill and Kathy Antony on the unexpected death of their grandson, William Kenneth Kayne, on Nov. 3 in Saskatoon at the age of 28 years.

The Alida community extends sincere sympathy to Bill and Kathy Antony on the unexpected death of their grandson, William Kenneth Kayne, on Nov. 3 in Saskatoon at the age of 28 years. Kayne leaves to mourn his passing his mother Willa, brothers Jesse and Elijah, grandparents Bill and Kathy and extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Condolences are extended to all members of the Anthony family.

Wednesday, November 11 鈥 Remembrance Day was held. Once again this pandemic will make an impact into events and something different will probably take place. Whichever it is, hopefully you were able to celebrate this event in one form or another, even if only among your family as you remember those who has fought in our world wars and other wars as well.

Some gave the ultimate sacrifice, some made it home safely. Whichever it is we will 鈥淩emember Them.鈥 I hope you picked up your poppy and wore it proudly.

The Alida Rec Board has decided to serve take-out suppers to anyone interested. Their first meal will be an autumn turkey supper on Nov. 15. People were asked to purchase their pre-order by Nov. 8 at the store at 306-443-2444. The meal is to be picked up at the Alida rink. Do keep your eyes and ears open as there are plans in the works for further Take-out suppers to come.聽聽聽
