For the fourth year in a row, 鶹Ƶeast College was named as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers. The Top Employer designation recognizes Saskatchewan employers that lead their respective industries as exceptional places to work.
On being chosen a fourth time, College President and CEO Patrick Stoddart spoke about the commitment and dedication of his staff over the past year.
“鶹Ƶeast College is known for its ability to pivot and think outside of the box and that is exactly what our staff did this past year. The challenges the pandemic brought to our organization were immense, but the strength, perseverance and persistence of not only our staff but our students have truly been inspiring.”
Employers are evaluated using a variety of criteria and are compared to other organizations in their field to determine who offers the most progressive and forward-thinking employee programs.
鶹Ƶeast College’s comprehensive health and family benefits and its commitment to lifelong learning have always been a strong point of selection for the College. A renewed focus and commitment to employee wellness was the high point through 2020 and into 2021.
鶹Ƶeast College’s Board of Governors Chair, Janice Giroux had this to say about the award: “The Board of Governors of 鶹Ƶeast College are once again pleased to congratulate our staff on this year’s award. Their dedication, commitment and ongoing strength is a true testament to the success of our students. Through our management and staff’s hard work, 鶹Ƶeast College was able to continue to offer much-needed programming to the students and the communities that we serve.”
