Braden Piper fuelled up a vehicle at the Â鶹ÊÓƵern Plains Co-op's Kensington Avenue location Tuesday, as part of the co-op’s annual Fuel Good Day.
Ten cents from each litre of gas sold at the Estevan service stations, located on Fourth Street and on Kensington Avenue, will be directed to Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Saskatchewan Search and Rescue.
A breakfast and a barbecue lunch were also served at the Kensington Avenue location.
Identical events are happening at the co-op’s Carlyle and Oxbow locations. Proceeds from Carlyle will go to the Carlyle Elementary School, and the proceeds from Oxbow go to the Bow Valley Jamboree.
