'Reckless' to hit the stage at Cugnet Centre on Sunday night

WEYBURN - The show, “Reckless: The Ultimate Tribute to Bryan Adams”, will be staged by the Weyburn Concert Series on Sunday, May 5 as the last presentation of the current season.

The show will be held at the Cugnet Centre, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will showcase the music of Canadian singer Bryan Adams, who has won Grammy and Juno awards from his career spanning 40 years, and has had 11 Top Ten hits in the U.S., along with five Top Ten albums and six Multi-Platinum awards.

Sherman Friesen will be the lead vocalist and guitarist for “Reckless”, the tribute band that specializes in recreating the high energy performances of Adams in concert.

Reckless brings amazingly accurate renditions of the top hits of Adams.

Listeners can look forward to hearing such memorable songs as “Summer of ‘69”, “Run to You”, “Cuts Like a Knife”, “Kids Wanna Rock”, “Straight From the Heart”, and “Everything I Do I Do For You”, among many other of Adams’ hits.

Those who love his music are encouraged to come dance the night away, or to just get lost in the melodies and memories of Adams’ music from the 70s, 80s, 90s through to today.

Advance tickets are available at the Weyburn Review-This Week office, or at Old Fashion Foods, for $45, or $20 for a child or student. At the door, the price will be $50 for adults, or $25 for a child or student.

Tickets for the 2024-25 season will also be available at the Bryan Adams tribute show, as the lineup for next year’s season of concerts was recently released.
