聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 For the second year in a row Manor School hosted a talent show on Friday, Dec. 18, with students from each grade participating in the activity. Performing in front of a gym filled with family and friends, students showcased a variety of talents.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Kicking off the talents were Vincent and Missy who brought laughter to the crowd with impressions of their favourite teachers.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The grade 11 class then took to the stage to perform a dancing mash-up. With glow sticks affixed to them and the lights out the performance of colourful stickmen showcased a choreographed dance featuring a variety of song clips.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Kindergarten, grade one, and grade two classes took to the stage to sing 鈥淩udolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Caydence, Aiza, and Shay-Lynne performed the choreographed dance 鈥淲atch me Whip,鈥� with great enthusiasm.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Following the young dancers was a song by Brooke, 鈥淪nuff鈥� by Slipknot.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Dawson then took to the stage to sing and drum a 鈥淩ound Dance.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The next performances included a dance by Hannah and Elizabeth to 鈥淲atch me Nightcore,鈥� J鈥橬aya performed 鈥淗ello鈥� by Adele, which was followed by the grade seven and eight鈥檚 music video.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Vincent returned to the stage with a comedy show, which was followed by Trista and Monte singing 鈥淭echnicolour Beat鈥� and 鈥淪ince You鈥檝e Been Gone.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Missy then returned to the stage with Ambria and Trysten to sing 鈥淪titches,鈥� followed by gymnastic dancing by Kara to 鈥淐all me Maybe.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ambria and J鈥橬aya got back up on stage to perform a duet to 鈥淪ummertime Sadness.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Vincent followed this performance with a dance to 鈥淪ee you Again.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The grade 12s helped wrap up the final performances of the day with a class dance number, which was followed by the staff singing 鈥淲e Wish you a Merry Christmas.鈥�
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The students were excited to share their talents and successfully showcased the wide variety of interests and talents amongst the students and staff at Manor School.
