Garry Ness shows how he had to rebuild the arm rest for the back seat, plus where the hydraulic cylinders go for the convertible roof of his current car restoration project, a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief. This rare classic car was bought from a farmer in Saltcoats, and Garry is restoring it completely right down to the chassis. He has been accumulating the parts for it, often using eBay or the Internet to find the pieces, and will soon be redoing the chassis and body before putting it all back together again. His goal is to have the car restored and on the road by this summer. For related feature story check out the April 27 issue of the Weyburn Review.
