The Tommy Douglas Centre is putting on a Halloween Haunting with the Headless Horseman on October 29, 30 and 31.
Participants can expect a spooky story telling of a condensed version of Sleepy Hollow at the Headless Hauntings on Hallowed Hill event. Artistic Director John Nolan said it will be a story telling with action, complete with creepy lighting effects and scary sounds.
"It's going to be kind of like going into a haunted house," said Nolan.
Nolan added that the event is directed at children but warned that it is not for the faint-of-heart or the very young (under-6 years).
Story telling sessions begin on the hour, starting at 5 and going to 9 p.m. all three evenings. Tickets are $5 a head and participants are asked to be at the Centre 15 minutes early.
The Centre is holding a costume fitting on October 23 and 24 at 2 p.m. for anyone interested in performing at the Headless Hauntings on Hallowed Hill event.
