A special contest to promote the All Folk'd Up Festival in Montmartre will put someone in the back of this pick-up truck while being serenaded by Sask. Rising Star Blake Berglund.

A weekend in the back of a pick-up truck and a serenade by Sask. Rising Star Blake Berglund are up for grabs on May 28.

This deluxe country campsite in Montmartre's Kemoca Park, complete with a bucket of beverages and a basket of s'more fixings, is the winning prize in a contest sponsored by the All Folk'd Up Festival committee.

The lucky winner will spend July 8, 9 and 10 in a poolside campsite during the three-day All Folk'd Up Festival in Montmartre.

"We know it will be a blast to be camping right on the festival grounds, and special touches like a roaring fire, grandma's quilts and campfire songs by Blake Berglund are sure to heat up the night," said Christalee Froese, an All Folk'd Up Festival committee member.

Those who purchase their All Folk'd Up weekend passes on May 28 at the Cathedral Arts Festival Street Fair are eligible to win the country camping prize.

The July 8 to 10 folk festival in Montmartre will feature over 20 professional acts that cover all genres of music, from folk to rock to country, alternative, jazz and blues. Some headlines include Juno-award-winner Ken Hamm, Saskatchewan's 2011 Rising Star winner Blake Berglund and Kennedy Rodeo, Regina songstress Annette Campagne, Montreal singer/songwriter Gabrielle Papillion and reggae/fusion band Descalso.

The Kidz stage features two days of music, arts and crafts as performers like Carol Morin and Joanne Crawford's drum circle entertain.

"This is only our second annual festival and already the momentum is starting to build as over 250 weekend passes have been sold," said Froese. "The family atmosphere created in Kemoca Park last year definitely left people wanting more."

In addition to the music, craft vendors featuring everything from art work to lawn ornaments, jewelry, temporary tattoos and musical instruments will be on the festival grounds, as will many fantastic food vendors serving dishes like smoked meats and mini-perogies.

In order to promote the All Folk'd Up Festival in Regina, tickets will be on sale for the special price of $35 (regular $55) on May 28 only.

"Those who come out to the Cathedral Arts Festival to buy their tickets on May 28 will not only get cheap passes and a chance to win the country camping package, but All Folk'd Up musicians like Blake Berglund, Jayne Galloway and Tyler Gilbert will also be at our booth to entertain the crowd," said Froese, adding that the All Folk'd Up Street Fair booth will be located at 3100, 13th Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 28.
