A "Concert for Critters" is being held to raise funds for the Weyburn Humane Society on May 1 at the Royal Canadian Legion.
The concert will feature the Weyburn Men's Chorus, an instrumental performance by Rekina and Silkyn, singing by Leslie Richards, guitar playing by Patrick Acton, and a performance by the Weyburn Comprehensive School STARS Choir.
During the event, a special presentation will be made to Mayor Debra Button and April Sampson for their contribution to the inception of the Weyburn Humane Society.
A Chinese auction is also planned at the end of the concert with several items donated by local businesses and organizations.
The concert takes place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 at the door.
