REGINA — Despite being vaccinated and following all protocols, Buffy Sainte-Marie is recovering from COVID-19, says the Regina Folk Festival.
“With deep regret, we are announcing the cancellation of Buffy Sainte-Marie’s summer 2022 performances,” said a festival release Thursday. She was scheduled to perform as part of their concert series.
“At this time her primary focus must be on recovering, but she hopes to be on stage again soon, stated the release. We wish Buffy a speedy recovery! We will be announcing a line-up update shortly.
