So much to consider

Sometimes there is a lot more than expected when making a choice, even a seemingly simple decision. Even as I write I'm in the process of deciding whether or not to travel south for a business meeting tomorrow morning.

By chance, one day, I watched an old movie. I cannot remember the movie title, but it was about the life story of the early pioneers who settled in the Â鶹ÊÓƵern United Sates.

The chair is not my son or is it

Some of my favorite misheard lyrics include Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" "The kid is not my son". I've always heard it as The chair is not my son.

The 2014 Winter Olympics is under the way in the city of Sochi, Russia. Most of all, the good news from the team Canada have been cheering up everyone proud of being Canadians.

Hello God it's just me

An American on vacation inside a church noticed a golden telephone with a sign "$10,000 per call". He asked a priest what the telephone was used for. The priest said it was a direct line to heaven and you could talk to God.

From a most unlikely place

From information I've been able to find about the community of Anahim Lake, it's located in west central British Columbia and boasts a population of somewhere between 1,500 and under 400, depending on which website you visit.

A tale of two hands

UC Chimes: Why, no grandchildren?

A couple said that when they had the first grandchild, it felt much different from when they had their own first child. It should be. I have to wait until I have my own grandchild to taste that feeling.
