Tim Hortons in Estevan presents smile cookie proceeds

More than $59,000 was raised the past five years.

ESTEVAN - Tim Hortons in Estevan has donated the proceeds of this year's Smile Cookie campaign.

Franchisees Ryan and Mandy Irwin presented a cheque for $14,240 to Mayor Roy Ludwig and city manager Jeff Ward Monday afternoon at the Dennis Moore Centennial Park. 

Smile cookies were sold from May 1-7, with all proceeds from the sales at the King Street and Fourth Street locations going towards the park. 

This year represents the final year of Tim Hortons' commitment to the park. Over the past five years, $59,432 was raised through the sale of smile cookies in Estevan.
