The teddy bears had their picnic at the museum

Approximately 40 people attended the annual event.

ESTEVAN - The Souris Valley Museum hosted its annual Teddy Bear Picnic on Saturday morning.

About 40 people attended the event, including some who were were present for the first time. 

A scavenger hunt was held in the museum. Participants found hidden teddy bears with a letter. Once they found all seven bears and letters, they had to unscramble the word to enter the picnic. 

The picnic activities included a snack table with teddy graham snacks and juice, a craft table, games, a punch a prize board, and a teddy bear stomp. Families were also encouraged to tour throughout the museum, both inside the building and through the old buildings on the grounds.
