ESTEVAN - The Souris River south of Estevan was calm and peaceful Saturday morning.
With no wind at the time, it made for a cool, beautiful morning and early afternoon in the Energy City.
But a special weather statement remains in effect for the Estevan area and other parts of southern Saskatchewan. The rain is expected to begin in Estevan late Saturday afternoon and continue into the evening. Then it is expected to eventually turn into snow. The winds are expected to become stronger, too.
