ASSINIBOIA - A ceremony honouring Soldiers On Centre at Assiniboia Cenotaph was held on September 23.
Darla Prefontaine, organizer for the Assiniboia project, along with Mayor Sharon Schauenberg, MLA David Marit and members of the Assiniboia Legion were in attendance to cut the ribbon on the dedication of these banners that honour men and women who fought for our freedom, and currently hang on Assiniboia Centre Street and Avenues.
