ESTEVAN - The City of Estevan has announced that Kensington Avenue south of the south CP Rail crossing will be closed Friday with no through traffic due to road construction.
Motorists travelling northbound are requested to follow the detour on Sixth Street. For southbound traffic, the detour route will be Escana Street. The city says it is important to be aware of construction workers and moving equipment in construction zones.
This closure includes all sidewalk pedestrian traffic travelling north and southbound.
The street closure will remain in effect until project completion, the city said.
