ESTEVAN - The Estevan and Weyburn Police Services, in co-operation with CP Rail and the CP Police Service are planning a tactical training exercise at a location in the CP Rail yard on Sept. 8.
The area is secure and away from any public location. The training will start in the morning and end around noon.
The EPS says this is a notice to the community to not be alarmed of the large police presence in the area, as this will be a well-planned event.
Some Simunition rounds may be used during the exercise, which the EPS says may be heard nearby.
