EPS seeking public's assistance in pedestrian-vehicle collision

Incident occurred at the intersection of Sixth Street and 13th Avenue at around 8:45 p.m.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service is investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Wednesday night at approximately 8:45 p.m. 

The pedestrian was walking southbound in the crosswalk on 13th Avenue at the intersection with Sixth Street. A vehicle that was turning right from Sixth Street onto 13th Avenue struck the pedestrian and failed to stop. The vehicle had a red light at the time. 

The pedestrian received minor injuries but declined medical assessment. 

The vehicle was described as a white car or SUV. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the EPS at 306-634-4767.
