CARLYLE - Vice-principal Tyler Fehrenbach led the Carlyle Elementary School children in the annual Terry Fox Run on Sept. 23, with over 200 elementary school students and their teachers participating.

Fehrenbach indicated over $8,500 had been raised for cancer research. Additional donations are expected to come in.

The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive charity event held around the world to raise money for cancer research. The event is held annually in September in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope.
