Assiniboia Kinsmen make final draw for Chase the Ace

The final draw was an exciting end to their fourth Chase the Ace lottery.

The Kinsmen members that attended the Chase the Ace were Tyler Orten, Kim Dahlman, Jerad Dahlman, Brandon Welder, Nick Magnuson and Howard Ellis. They had help from their wives Jen Orten, Shelly Dahlman and Maureen Ellis. Riley Metzger won $4,334 for being the first ticket drawn. Sandy Dloughy drew the Ace of Spades and won $42,312.

ASSINIBOIA - The Kinsmen’s final draw for their fourth Chase the Ace lottery was held at the Bar B Inn on March 25.  There was total of $21,670 raised during the week in ticket sales.

The final draw was an exciting end to their fourth Chase the Ace lottery.

The lottery ended with 20 cards left.  Riley Metzger was the first name picked. He won $4,334 but was not able to draw the Ace of Spades.

Angie Neuberger, Erroll Yorga and Maureen Helland’s names were also drawn but the Ace was not found. These three won $25 gift certificates from the Bar B Inn.

With 16 cards left, Sandy Dlouhy’s name was chosen and she drew the Ace of Spades. She won the jackpot of $42,312.

Desiree Buckler drew the Ace on August 4 (week 20) and won $9,284.

A new lottery was started the following week to finish our licence.

Proceeds from this fundraising project will go to update equipment and monitors at Assiniboia Union Hospital.
