ALIDA - Rob and Wendy Lutzner of Calgary arrived July 17 to visit with her parents, Leonard and Lil Patton, to spend some special time with her brother Michael and his family Joanne and Sabastian, who were here on holidays from Perth, Australia. They also visited with her brother Trevor, Sheri and family.
I noticed an obituary for Ken Anderson, late of Carlyle and formally of Arcola. Ken had passed away July 14, 2023, at the age of 97 years at the Moose Mountain Care Lodge. A celebration of Ken’s life was held July 24 at Prairie Place Complex in Arcola. Sincere sympathy is extended to all of his family and also to his many friends. His special laugh and friendly greetings will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Tim, Shelly and Ainsley Cowan visited on July 23 in Minot with the Nilsen family and also spent some time at the Minot State Fair. They then travelled and spent some holiday time at Medora, N.D., before returning back home to Alida.
