STOUGHTON — Strong winds result in damage in the communities across the southeast.

The photo was taken on Saturday at the former service station north of the junction of Highways 47 and 13 in Stoughton.

A wind warning was issued Friday afternoon and remained in effect until Saturday evening.

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring in the southeast.

A fast-moving Alberta clipper will give severe westerly or northwesterly wind gusts to portions of southern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba this afternoon and evening.

Sustained winds of 60 to 70 km/h with gusts of 90 to 100 km/h are possible by mid-day today persisting into the afternoon and early evening.

The winds will ease later on this evening and through the overnight.
