ESTEVAN — A water main break on Bannatyne Avenue has led to road closures and temporary water service interruptions in Estevan, the city announced Friday evening.

The 500 block of Bannatyne Avenue, between Henry Street and Albert Street, will remain closed as repair work continues.

Water service has been temporarily restored to affected properties, including:

  • 506-530 Bannatyne Avenue
  • 437-367 Henry Street
  • 375-391 Pine Avenue
  • 461 King Street

However, a boil water advisory is in effect for these areas until further notice. Water will be shut off again at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, as repairs continue. The city expects full service to be restored later in the afternoon, with further updates to follow.

“The City of Estevan thanks residents and businesses for their patience,” the city said.

Urgent inquiries can be directed to 306-634-1800.
