ESTEVAN - The Estevan Oilfield Technical Society's (OTS) Oilwomen's Golf Tournament has brought 134 players to the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course Friday.
The tournament is an 18-hole Texas scramble. In addition to the golf, there is a putting contest, prizes and lots of socializing. A chicken supper will be served after the tournament.
Prize winners will be drawn at random.
The tournament is for female oilfield employees, oilwives and women who support the oilfield. Each team has to have at least two women connected to the patch.
It is also a fundraiser for a local organization. Last year the tournament benefited the Â鶹ÊÓƵeast College's scholarship fund.
