PARIS - Midale's Keely Shaw wrapped up her competition in the 2024 Paralympic Games by racing in two Para cycling events on the streets of Paris.
In the women's individual C4 time trial on Wednesday, Shaw finished fifth with a time of 22 minutes and 9.19 seconds. She was 29.95 seconds back of the gold medallist.
The time-trial circuit had a distance of 14.1 kilometres.
Then, in the women's C4 road race on Friday, Shaw was 15th with a time of two hours and 9.28 seconds for the 71-kilometre circuit.
In her first event at the 2024 Paralympic Games on Aug. 30, she won bronze in the 3,000-metre pursuit, which is a track event. She won bronze in the same event at the Tokyo Paralympics three years ago.
Shaw was involved in a horse-riding accident in 2009 at age 15 that left her with partial paralysis on her left side. She became a Para cyclist in 2016,
