SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - Traffic was affected by a couple of vehicle incidents in southeast Saskatchewan on Sunday.
One is an accident on Highway 39 at Halbrite. Highway 39 was closed from Weyburn to Midale starting in the middle of the morning due to icy conditions, but has since reopened. According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline, the incident has since been cleared.
The other was Highway 13, two kilometres east of the junction with Highway 47. That incident has also been cleared.
Several highways in in the region are closed or have travel not recommended advisories. Other highways are listed as covered or partially covered.
A freezing rain warning remains in effect for southeast Saskatchewan.
