UPDATE: The extreme cold warning for southern Saskatchewan has been lifted.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - Extreme cold has been hovering over parts of southern Saskatchewan.

A warning was issued for Regina, Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Moosomin and other communities. It is also in effect for other parts of Saskatchewan. All told, 218 RMs and other areas were covered by the warning, which was lifted mid-afternoon Saturday.
