Estevan police respond to a hit and run collision

ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service is dealing with hit and run collision.

EPS received a report on Nov. 14, in which witnesses were able to provide details, and the driver was located. The matter remains under investigation.

Members are investigating a report of an individual uttering threats. The investigation is ongoing with additional statements being obtained.

Members attended a local liquor establishment following a report of a woman causing a disturbance. The woman left before police arrival, and she was not subsequently located.

On Nov. 13, police assisted with traffic control at the drive-through poll locations. No major issues occurred.

A cell phone was located at a local convenience store and turned into EPS.  If you have misplaced your phone, please stop in at EPS and provide a description to claim it.

Police and fire responded to a two-vehicle collision at King St and Cundall Dr.  No injuries were reported, and it was determined that the collision did not require further police involvement.  Both vehicles remained operational and the drivers exchanged information before leaving the area.

Police also responded to a complaint at a local liquor establishment where a man was reported to be causing a disturbance. As police were arriving on scene, the man was leaving the area. He was spoken to and warned about his actions.
