ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service dealt with 62 occurrences from April 5-7.
On April 6, members arrested and charged a 35-year-old man for assault with a weapon, uttering threats and breach of conditions after a call for service in the downtown area.
The EPS also assisted the Estevan RCMP with an impaired driving investigation in which charges were laid.
Due to another traffic stop, a drug-impaired driving suspension was issued.
A number of checks were done on individuals that are on release conditions. Members also attended to several well-being and assistance calls over the weekend.
In other recent police news, members arrested a 22-year-old woman on April 4. She is facing multiple charges including assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of mischief to property. She was held in custody overnight to appear in court at a later date.
