ESTEVAN — A Canada-wide warrant was executed in Estevan on April 22 for a parole violator living in the community, according to the Estevan Police Service (EPS). No further details will be released, the EPS said.
Police responded to 29 calls for service on April 20-21, following a long weekend that saw a rise in public intoxication and impaired driving offences.
Several individuals were arrested after being found intoxicated in public and unable to care for themselves. In addition, two arrests were made for impaired operation of motor vehicles, with related vehicle seizures.
The EPS reminded the public to report incidents requiring police assistance immediately, noting that delays in reporting can hinder investigations and make it more difficult to locate those involved.
