Jaelei Meyer of Carlyle has been playing hockey all of her life. Currently she is a grade 12 student at Notre Dame, where she is a player for the female hockey team there. Being very athletic she even picked up rugby last year during the off season.

UC Chimes - Qu'Appelle means . . . ?

A few weeks ago, the newcomers event of Saskatchewan Conference was held at Calling Lakes Centre in Fort Qu'Appelle. The Retreat Centre was located on the north shore of Echo Lake in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley.

Beef producers get no help

Pity the beef producers of our province. They just can't seem to get a break. A decade ago it was the BSE "crisis".
