UPDATE:
MOOSOMIN - The eastbound lanes of Highway 1 near Moosomin are open again Thursday night after to a motor vehicle collision.
According to a message on the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure's Highway Hotline map, the incident occurred near New Finland Road.
The lanes were closed just after 9 p.m., and were open again before 11 p.m.
The Highway Hotline reports that winter conditions exist on Highway 1 in the Moosomin area with icy or slipperty sections and drifting snow. A special weather statement and a snowfall warning were in effect earlier in the day due to a winter storm that blasted the southeast on Thursday.
