BIRCH HILL - A team of curlers from the Carlyle branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, which consisted of Mike Makelki, Gerald Clark, Nedra Clark and Jack Wilson, headed to the Provincial Legion Curling Championship in Birch Hill. Darrin Simons was a spare and is a former member of the Carlyle Legion.
There were two categories that the teams could play in - regular and masters. Each crowns a champion.
The Carlyle Legion came in second place in the regular category. More teams are competing at legion curling provincials.
