Police seek public's help following robbery at business

At approximately 7 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a drug store in the 2100 block of 8th Street East for a weapons call.

SASKATOON - Saskatoon police are searching for a suspect related to a robbery, yesterday evening in Saskatoon.

At approximately 7 p.m. on March 17, patrol officers were dispatched to a drug store in the 2100 block of 8th Street East for a weapons call. Through investigation, police found that a woman entered the store and began filling a bag with product. When store employees confronted her, she produced a knife and threatened staff with it. The suspect continued taking items before exiting the store without paying, threatening the staff a second time, prior to leaving.

The suspect is described as being approximately 25-years-old, and was last seen walking east in the parking lot outside the store wearing a black “Champion” sweater with ripped blue jeans. She had on brown work boots and a black cross-body bag, carrying a green, reusable shopping bag.
