Â鶹ÊÓƵ readers shared strong opinions this week in a variety of community discussion polls ranging from COVID vaccine fatigue to concerns about vehicle noise. We've compiled the most interesting results below.

What’s the biggest issue facing Sask right now? The largest vote at close to 40% was overall cost of living. Other top votes: crime (20%) and unaffordable housing (14%).

Can you rely on your neighbours? 87% said yes, they live in a close-knit community. With growing rates of isolation and loneliness in many parts of the world, this is a Sask trend we hope continues.

Are you getting seasonal COVID and flu boosters? Almost 50% said they do not get regular boosters. This aligns with a recent finding that Canadians are feeling “vaccine fatigue”.

Do you use your local library? 60% said yes, they do, and they love it! Another 25% admitted they don’t but really should. This supports a recent finding that Sask residents love their libraries.

Is vehicle noise a problem in Sask? 54% of readers said yes, it’s out of hand and something should be done to curb it by provincial and/or local governments.

Should more Sask roads raise their speed limits? 65% of readers said yes, they should. This is in response to Estevan raising speed limits on Highway 39 and 47.

Is downtown Regina safe at night these days? An overwhelming number of readers, 86%, said no, they don't feel it's safe. This is in response to a Reddit user who presented the observation.
