OTTAWA, Ont. — The War Measures Act was most famously used by Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau during the October Crisis, and now its replacement, the Emergency Measures Act may be employed by his son, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
This is according to reporting this morning by CBC.
The measure is being considered to handle protests across the country.
