SASKATOON - Wayne and Kathleen MacLeod are happy to be taking home an astounding $219,095.40 thanks to the Feb. 28 Lotto Max draw.

The MacLeod’s purchased their ticket from 7-Eleven Food Store at 2132 McClocklin Rd. in Saskatoon a few hours before the draw. The following morning, Kathleen was scanning their tickets using the Lotto Spot app when she discovered their big win.

“I was very surprised to see it,” she said. She took the ticket and showed to Wayne who was in disbelief.

“I’ll believe it when we take it in!” he said at the time.

He believes it now.

The happy Saskatoon couple won by matching six of the seven winning numbers (1, 3, 8, 24, 35, 42, and 43) and the Bonus number (18) for the Feb. 28 Lotto Max draw. While claiming their prize, the couple said they’re still in shock and need more time to decide on what they will do with their recent windfall.

“I always told Wayne our turn would come and now it’s our turn!” Kathleen added. “It finally happened!”
